Nothing like a too-bright light to ruin camper mood.

Here are the lights that we found works well for our Aliner.

Everyday lanterns

We got two of these lanterns because they are sturdy and cute. They are also USB rechargeable and last a couple of hours on a charge. We hang these up on S-hooks, set them on the counter, or bring them out by the campfire. Super versatile.

Indoor string lights

Gotta have string lights. These LUCI string lights are bright enough to light the entire camper at night, and they are rechargeable both by USB and by solar! Also, very compact and easy to transport. They aren't very long, so we just line them up on one or two walls of the camper. The battery also don't last long especially on the brightest setting, so we don't rely on these as our main light.

Outdoor string lights

I've been impressed with the sturdiness and the quality of these outdoor solar lights. We usually have them in the backyard, but they've worked great when we took them camping with us. When we found I had accidentally drained the battery by keeping them on in our dark truck bed, we just plugged the solar port into a USB battery charger. And voila, we had string lights at our campsite!

That's all we found we needed! We still have random dollar store flashlights. And when we need to dig deep into the Aliner we still use the default LED lights. But otherwise we found these solutions work for us.
